Letters to My Children -- Tono's First Non Fiction Book

Cover Art by Jenniifer Jacklin. Watercolor, 9" x 12", 1999.

Letters to My Children is Tono's first book of spiritual & philosophical content.

As Tono tells us in the preface to this concise non fiction book:

"I was so interested in beginning my career as a writer of books that I moved to New Orleans to make a clean break with my past and start a new creative phase.  During this period, I had been practicing Kundalini Yoga (meditation) under the tutelage of a Siddha Yoga guru and was studying Hindu and Kashmir Shaivite texts, many of which were still mostly in their original Sanskrit form.

"I had been a student of comparative religions since my college days; Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Voodooism, Shamanism, Judaism, Zen, etc.  So it made perfect sense to write a synthesis of these various influences as they had affected me during my life.

"The result is the book you see here.  It was written very spontaneously, based on the chapter headings below.  I just came up with the topic and let 'er rip!  Enjoy the read and smile!"
