Give freely and often.  Give everything of yourself to others.  Even if you don’t want to give, and resist this law, life will make you give, so give willingly and with great love and devotion.

Tono V. Rondone has a magna cum laude degree in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and twenty years of professional writing experience. His work has been published in the San Francisco Chronicle/Examiner and various national magazines.

In addition to his fourth literary novel, The Martyrs, Tono has written a non fiction book entitled Letters to My Children, a collection of short stories entitled The Green Eyed Monster and three other literary novels: POP! (Goes the Weasel), Hurdy Gurdy Man and tales from the tattva tower.  POP (Goes the Weasel) also was adapted into a screenplay by the author, and Tono has written an original screenplay, Hi(gh) America, as well.  The author is currently putting the finishing touches on a two volume book sized journal entitled NOLA Myths & Legends/SF Redux.

Musically, Tono was in two bands of note during the eighties in San Francisco:  The Alter Boys, with the reknowned actor Richard Edson, and Frank Hymng, with Elliott Shannonhouse, Fredrick Fox and Mark Secosh.  Frank Hymng produced a very popular album, All Eyes on You.  In 1993, Tono recorded his first solo album, White Bred Off Ramp, on which he played all the instruments (guitar, bass, flute, keyboards, harmonica and drums) as well as singing and songwriting.  2002 saw Tono's second solo album, The Proper Blast, which includes four songs by the Las Vegas rockers Ghost Shirt Society, in which Tono was a founding member.

From the famed trio comprised of Elliott Shannonhouse, Tono Rondone and John Sorrell of Frank Hymng comes the just released "THE REST OF FRANK HYMNG!" Listen to a selection at the right by clicking on the icon!

CHECK OUT WHAT LAS VEGAS IS SAYING ABOUT TONO AND HIS WORK!

"This person has something to say.  Something worth listening to.  Something that has intrinsic value.  Something created for the people (for you) out of a sense of both boldness and love, born from journeys to places few travel to."
